Sundance is looking for a sponsor!

 

Sundance is a big, beautiful Quarter/Morgan cross in his early twenties. He was lovingly donated in the summer of 2018 by the same couple who donated Cowboy years ago, and now he gets to be at Haven Acres with his younger brother Smokey! Sundance is very gentle, laid back, and he’s not afraid of anything. He is also trained to pull a cart or sleigh, and we have been thrilled to offer carriage rides to some of the people we serve!

 
Horse sponsorship is one of the ways that people can be involved in supporting the horses and kids in our care. A monthly sponsorship covers the horse’s feed, hoof care, and basic medical costs or medications as well as offering a child the chance to build a relationship with them free of charge. Full and partial sponsorships are available.
 
Horse sponsorship includes:
  • Quarterly updates on your horse
  • A professional portrait of your horse showcasing your sponsorship
  • Acknowledgement of sponsorship on our website
  • Three opportunities per year to visit your horse
 
Sundance’s sponsorship has been partially covered by some generous donors and his monthly cost is just $165!

Flannel Gala Update!

Our Flannel Gala 2022 was a success!
To start out the night, our founders, Jason and Jenifer Heath, shared about the history of Haven Acres and updates about what God has done at Haven Acres in 2020 and 2021.
We got to hear testimonials from parents, kids, and one of our long-time volunteers and board members, Terry! (Head over to our YouTube channel if you would like to see some of those videos!)
Todd Monger, a counselor and the executive director of Bien Aime Farm, shared from his heart about the impact that ministries like Haven Acres have on the youth who come to them.

And — *drumroll* — people donated nearly $25,000 to support our kids and teens who come to Haven Acres!

Registration for summer sessions 2022 is OPEN! Send us an application between March 1st and March 31st if you would like to have your child in Haven Acres sessions this year! We will be using the lottery system to determine acceptance.
