Our 12th Annual Bowling for Bucks fundraiser is on October 24th!

Anyone who loves Haven Acres can participate and help us make this event a success. Participants, volunteers, family members, donors, supporters from afar… anyone can help! The more bowlers we have, the greater our impact.

How It Works: Friends of Haven Acres will sign up to bowl three games with us on October 24th, and until then they will seek sponsorships from friends and family to support Haven Acres. Our goal is for each bowler to set a goal to raise $250 or more in sponsorships (but don’t worry if you don’t reach it—you are still very welcome to bowl with us!). Sponsors can choose to give a flat amount or pledge an amount per point scored.

For example, they could donate $10 flat, or they could pledge to give $.10 per point you score when you bowl. If you get 200 points from your three games, you would let them know, and then they would send $20 to Haven Acres.

Details:

  • Cost: Bowlers only need to cover the cost of three games and shoe rental.
  • What’s Provided: Enjoy pizza, pop, and a cheering section while you bowl!
  • Location: Bowlero in Lakeville
  • Date & Time: October 24th from 6-8 PM

Our Goal: We aim to raise $10,000 this year to continue offering our program free of charge to all participants. To achieve this, we need about 40 bowlers. You do not need to be a great bowler! We want people of all ages and abilities to join us. Bowling skills don’t determine fundraising success! I’m not a great bowler, but I still do it every year haha. It’s way more about coming and having fun together, and also you are able to ask for donations from people that we don’t know and have no way to ask.

Next Steps: Please let us know by October 10th if you or your child will participate. (We recommend getting started as soon as possible!) Children of any age can bowl, but any under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
